About Us

You may be wondering who is behind the Essential Summaries. 

Well, we are two very ordinary blokes.  We have known each other since school and now as we age, we have found ourselves caring for our parents and helping manage their affairs, just like many other people.  In conversation, we came to the realisation that whether it was medical care or dealing with the death of a loved one, having easier access to information would have helped us deal with most of the issues and frustration we encountered.  So, with some expert assistance, we set about creating the Essential Summaries.

This was our way of turning a negative into a positive, to help others organise their affairs in a way that will support their families when the time comes.

We have made the Essential Summaries as comprehensive as possible without being a chore to complete, and affordable so that they are accessible to everyone.  We have printed the Essential Summaries in a larger font with plenty of space to make them easy to use.

While ageing and death are a part of life, we know from experience, that things can change quickly and unexpectedly.  Our aim is help you save your family a lot of unneccessary stress, frustration and worry through the information that you record in your Essential Summaries.

And like us, if you have ageing parents perhaps the Essential Summaries are tools that you can introduce to them. So that if you need to take on a role as carer, or executor, you'll have the information and guidance you need to effectively support them and honour their wishes.
